Once off the main drag the satnav was struggling to distinguish between a normal road and a forest track, so we ended up reverting to ye olde paper map and signposts to get us to our next site.

This is one of the better roads the satnav wanted to take us along!

Could anyone please explain this? The minor roads are covered with these tyre marks and it's baffling us. Drunken moose in stolen tractor possibly?

Is it a sea? Is it a lake? This is the view from our present campsite across the largest lake in Sweden, Lake Vänern. Not a lake we would care to swim across, it is slightly smaller than Cumbria, but not much!
