Lofoten Islands

I never thought we would make it to the Lofoten Islands, but once Rachel showed a desire for reaching the Arctic Circle, we just had to come. We took the short route, via the 4 hour ferry from Bodo & for the pleasure the nice young man at the ferry terminal relieved us of 1,794 krone. That equates to about £160 which is a little pricey for a 50 mile crossing. However it did save us the 400 mile road trip, that is saved for our return journey.
