Dark and Light

After another night of continuous rain, heavy rain and torrential rain it came as somewhat of a surprise that we woke to only a couple of drips in the van ;-) The forecast for today is black cloud with those 2 raindrops, ALL DAY! Maybe our search for the midnight sun will be as much about finding clear skies than reaching the required latitude. We are presently experiencing constant daylight. Despite the sun setting at 11.30pm and rising at 3am (allegedly) it isn't disappearing much over the horizon and despite the best efforts of the dark clouds they cannot make our van a dark place :-)
