This is the the most north easterly point of mainland Denmark where the 2 seas meet. It's a bit of a (tourist) con to suggest the uncanny sight of the 2 seas colliding create the unusual sight of the white horses in what is otherwise calm water. True that it is a strange sight but obviously caused by the finger of sand which stretches out and means there is shallow water for some distance. After all, it's 'man' who names the seas, to nature it's just one.
