Highlights from Day 24

Countdown: 24 sites left, 24 days until the longest day of the year.

We knocked 2 sites off today and are presently on the coast at Ahus (can't help thinking of Madness). The previous one, a site for you Nige, rooms you can rent underground, just like Middle Earth. When we said we were from Carlisle the young campsite owner said "They play in blue don't they"? Could the day get any more bizarre?

Interesting road warning signs we saw, not normally seen in Cumbria - Wild Boar and Elk, not that any stepped out in front of us thank goodness, could be messy!

(This photo should be at the bottom but having a technical issue)

We were running low on fuel so popped in to an automated filling station, the pump shut off when we'd spent 500 krone but fortunately after another insertion of the card and we got more fuel until it shut off at another 500 krone, but fortunately........ you get the picture. Just over a thousand krone to fill up, now that is expensive in ANY currency, but actually a little bit cheaper than England!

Highlight of Rachel's day was seeing the Absolut factory where vodka, Pernot and Ricard are made, thought of you Yann. There is actually a vodka exhibition in town but there's only so much alcohol one can take.
